Douglas J. Blair is a healthcare IT executive and electronic medical records expert with over 30 years of experience leading enterprise EMR implementations at the nation’s top health systems. He has directed Epic system rollouts at Cleveland Clinic, University of Maryland Medical System, University of Washington, MemorialCare Health System, Kettering Health Network, and numerous other institutions. As former CIO of OhioGuidestone (Ohio’s largest behavioral health agency) and Senior Director of Physician Information Systems at Mount Carmel Health System, he brings deep operational expertise to the intersection of healthcare technology and legal compliance. Mr. Blair holds an MBA from the University of Northern Colorado, is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives, and served in the U.S. Army. He now leads the Electronic Medical Record Association, providing forensic EMR analysis and expert witness services nationwide.
